The agency provides free multi-generational services to families living in the 62-block neighborhood of Jubilee Park and surrounding areas, a part of Dallas which has long been under-resourced.
Founded in 1997, Jubilee has grown into a campus which includes a community center, resource center, Head Start facility, Early Head Start facility, senior housing complex, and a 3-acre park. We’ve also worked closely with residents to identify five key pillars that in form our work and reflect the community’s greatest challenges and opportunities. Job Description:
The Contract Lawyer will provide legal advice, representation, and education to individuals in the Jubilee Park neighborhood dealing with property title and transfer challenges, such as assistance with ownership disputes, title clearing, partition actions, and future planning. The Contract Lawyer should be able to clear clouded title and be competent drafting and filing determinations of heirship, ladybird deeds, and simple wills. This role is ideal for a legal professional seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity to supplement their existing practice or commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on legal rights and options related to their property.
- Assist with title searches, title clearing, and quiet title actions.
- Negotiate and mediate disputes among heirs to reach equitable resolutions.
- Draft and review legal documents, such as deeds, wills, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court if necessary.
- Provide education and outreach on property title and transfer issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- Proven experience in real estate law, estate planning, or family law, with a focus on property title and transfer issues preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to Texas property law.
- Preferred experience working with low-income clients.

Vision
Jubilee Park sits at a crossroads with respect to its future as a neighborhood. On one hand, Jubilee is a stable community with long-time residents and housing options that are still relatively affordable. On the other, due to its proximity to Dallas’ city-center, Jubilee sits on the precipice of development occurring and creating the possibility of displacement of residents due to outside entities. To ensure that our neighbors are at the center of the neighborhood’s future, Jubilee began the process of developing an Equitable Development Plan (EDP) that will engage residents and community stakeholders through the summer of 2025. Jubilee seeks an experienced real estate professional to serve as a housing expert and to aid in the execution our development initiatives.
Key Competencies:
- 10+ years of experience in real estate, specifically around affordable housing development or related nonprofit experience, relevant education may substitute for experience
- Sincere interest and desire to impact community-based housing efforts.
- Comfortable using, interpreting, and accessing data to inform the work of Jubilee Park in alignment with its mission, vision on future of housing and development efforts, and in conjunction with learnings from an equitable development plan (EDP) that began in 2024
- Knowledge/expertise of Dallas area affordable housing/real-estate/community development landscape.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as Jubilee’s real-estate lead and liaison with the City of Dallas.
- Represent Jubilee at City, TREC, Dallas Housing Coalition, and other housing/development related meetings.
- Identify area developers and seek to meet/learn from – identify potential opportunities as well as potential threats.
- Serve as a liaison to EDP consultant relaying messages to Jubilee as well as identifying how key takeaways from plan relate to and should inform Jubilee’s programmatic work.
- Establish a flexible schedule that meets the needs of both Jubilee and the contractor.

The S3 Interventionist is a part-time (10 hours/week) exempt position, responsible for providing intensive one on one or group intervention for students who are in the S3 Program or who have learning challenges. The S3 Interventionist works Monday–Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and reports to the S3 Coordinator. The S3 program sits within Jubilee’s larger Out of School Time (OST) programming with a core tenant to provide high quality, innovative, relevant, and engaging programs that help students succeed and thrive. The S3 programming consists of targeted interventions by trained professionals in dyslexia and other areas of specialized support services. This role will require work and event attendance that occur outside traditional work hours.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with S3 Coordinator and Director of OST Programs to ensure S3 program meets program outcomes
- Actively engage students in the learning process; plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials and equiptment that meet the needs of students with dyslexia or other learning challenges, such as, but not limited to, ADHD, ADD, and Autism
- Conduct ongoing formal and informal assessments of students and set individual student goals
- Responsible for completing, maintaining, and logging weekly S3 student data reports for Director of Research, Impact, & Evaluation
- Meet with S3 Coordinator and/or parents to discuss student growth and challenges
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information and records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or Special Education, required
- Valid Teachers Certificate, required
- Dyslexia Practicioner or Reading Specialist, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Knowledgeable about federal and state laws and mandates regarding students with learning challenges
- 2+ years’ experience with working with students with learning differences
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner/demeanor

The Afterschool Lead Teacher is a part-time position part of Jubilee’s Out of School Time (OST) team. The Afterschool Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing appropriate instructional materials in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop to their full academic potential during the Jubilee’s Afterschool Program. The Afterschool Lead Teacher teaches Monday – Friday from 2:30-6:30 PM (times subject to change), at one of our 3 afterschool campuses (Jubilee, Mt. Auburn STEAM Academy, or Oran M. Roberts Elementary), and reports to the Director of OST Programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver enrichment activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop and provide weekly lesson plans.
- Provide homework assistance.
- Maintain an environment conducive to learning where students feel safe.
- Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Maintain time sheet.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Maintain emotional control under stress.
- Moderate standing, bending, and lifting.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required by the Education Manager.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years working in a classroom or afterschool setting.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Ability to prepare high quality lessons.
- Ability to instruct and manage afterschool students effectively.
- Ability to communicate efficiently.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
